Recaro Knob Insert Caps
Newly reproduced after years of being unavailable! If your Recaro Ideal OR Classic C seat has a star shaped adjustment knob, odds are you're missing this cap. The original caps frequently simply fall out of the knob, later to be sucked up by vacuums or otherwise lost. Even when you could get an original - new or used - it was likely to suffer the same fate as they fall out easily.
This reproduction is an improved design that will fit more snugly than the Pekalit marked caps yet can still be removed when YOU need them to be removed. I went looking for these caps a couple years ago in order to replace the missing caps from the Recaro seats that were fitted to my Avanti - and soon learned they were no longer available. I then went looking for a manufacturer to reproduce these for me. New tooling had to be made, which allowed the parts to be improved in design to fit more snugly. These parts are injection molded from Celcon M270 and look great. They are priced at $4.00 each, with free shipping to US addresses. Ebay's Global Shipping Program will cover most international buyers. These seats were fitted to many W126 S, SE, SEC, SEL, SD, SDL Class Mercedes, mid-80s Avanti's, some Porsches and other cars. |
