Fiero Auto Trans Shift Bracket and optional Leather Boot
Many in the Fiero community believe that the “glue-on” automatic shift boot, (which requires the bracket sold elsewhere on this site) is superior to the “elastic band” versions. They fit better on the console and stay put, where the elastic versions can bend the perimeter tabs and pop loose. For years the problem has been that the brackets for the glue-on boots were often damaged beyond repair, and until recently, no longer available.
I’ve had the glue-on bracket drawn up as a 3D printed part, with some minor improvements to increase their durability. I offer them in both FDM (weaker) and MJF (stronger).
Though I can’t say for a fact, others have said that the “glue-on” type of bracket does not fit a 1984 console.
Buy a bracket and a boot, and by request we will glue the boot to the bracket at no additional charge!
As all Zimmer QuickSilvers were made with a 1986-1988 Fiero as donor vehicles these should fit all cars.
