The coachbuilt Zimmer QuickSilver was designed by D.A. "Don" Johnson and built by Zimmer Motor Cars in Pompano Beach, Florida. Reportedly only 170 between 1986 and 1988 were built before Zimmer Motor Cars, a conglomerate that also manufactured the coachbuilt neoclassic Golden Spirit, Blackfin yachts, manufactured housing, portable buildings, motor coaches, conversion vans, custom pickup trucks and more closed forever.
